Byron Bay has so many beautiful features on it’s own, but a trip to Byron Bay is not complete without a trip upto the lighthouse at Byron Bay.
It doesn’t take long to take up a drive up to the cape or if you would like a more ambitious outing you can take a walk up the expansive hill to the top. The views are absolutely breathtaking. You are even able to walk to the most Eastern point of Australia.
If you are really lucky and you are visiting within the whale season (around June, July, September) you will even be able to see the beautiful humpback whales traveling up the coast line. I visited in June and within the first 30 seconds I saw 2 large groups of whales and dolphins. It most certainly is a sigh to see.
The atmosphere is most definitely relaxed and is appreciated for nature lovers and children of the sea.
