BOY OR GIRL?

Well, let me just start of by saying, every single baby that is born into this world is a special, amazing moment in time.

The ever increasing questions I keep receiving from a lot of people are … I bet you want a girl for your second?

Honestly, I don’t even know how to respond to this, what because I’m a woman I must want a girl?

Let me clear my thoughts, I can honestly say I DONT CARE!

Do you know how many women struggle everyday with falling pregnant? Miscarriage, still births? It makes me teary just thinking about it.

So with that in mind why would I ever care if I have a boy or girl?

Will I love my baby less or be disappointed if I don’t ever have a girl?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

My little boy is the light of my life, he doesn’t have to be a girl to be my best friend, he is going to grow and hopefully become an amazing man, I honestly believe that you can have a best friend in a boy or a girl. I have seen this occur!

I have been so lucky in my life that I have been able to conceive 2 children naturally, without the help of medical intervention or the absolute heartache or stress of waiting months and months and years and year of waiting to see if I will be able to carry a baby.

So next time you go to ask a mother the preference of the life she is growing inside her, ask yourself this.

Would you ask a woman that has struggled to have a child if they would want a boy or a girl? Probably not, and she would probably slap you in the face, you know why.

Ultimately all a mother SHOULD want is the birth of a healthy, happy baby, for them to grow and be wild and free and for them to be the best version of themselves.

So for the record, I DO NOT CARE if I have a beautiful little healthy boy or girl.

love
